We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and we are excited to have the opportunity to welcome you back. While many things have changed, one thing remains the same: our commitment to your safety.
We open our doors back on May 19th. We will first open our University Place office. We will see only healthy, low risk patients at our University Place office. There will be screening questions when you schedule and again when you arrive. Your temperature will be taken at the entrance to confirm that you have normal forehead temperature. There will be all natural HOCL to disinfect your hands.
The waiting room will be limited to the patients who have an appointment and one chaperone per minor patient who has an appointment. Before you step into your treatment or hygiene room, you will be asked to rinse with hypochlorous rinse to reduce bacterial count. Whenever we use any drill or polishers, we will utilize a powerful external suction to remove aerosol. After each treatment day, our office will be sanitized with a combination of ozone air/ UVC light and ULV fogger with HOCL. These measures surpass the infection control recommendations currently made by the ADA and the CDC.
If you are a high-risk patient, we will do everything we can to help you manage any dental issues with prescriptions and instructions that you can carry out at home until your risk goes down.
Our Browns Point office will open June 1st. There is a limited amount of protective equipment available and we are working hard to ensure there aren’t any compromises. Browns Point will open with the same level of infection control as the University Place office.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 253-566-0900 or visit our website at www.mindds.com
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.
